The man in the back of my car

Just joined this sub and found it really interesting so I thought I'd share my own story of a freaky experience.<br><br><br>This happened when I was about 17 (now 22) and I was driving home from a friends house. The drive was only about 10 minutes but there was no streetlights on that road, it was a very dark road.<br><br>I was just driving along when all of a suddden I see someone in my rear view mirror just sitting in the back seat of my car. I did a double take because at the time I 100% knew that no one was in the back seat, it was just me.<br><br>I looked in my rear view and there was some older man sitting there with a grin on his face just looking back at me. Now you can imagene that I was absolutely terrified. I didn't know what to do but I knew I had to get out of there. I looked at my rear view again and he was gone.<br><br>I pulled up at the next set of lights and looked in the back and no one was there. I pulled over to the side of the road and got out to check my car but no one was there.<br><br>I thought this was just a weird experience and there was no way anyone was in the back of my car until I told my mum the story. She told me that about 10 years ago my brother was driving down the same road that I was on and had the same thing happen to him.<br><br>I don't know how this happened or if this was some kind of sick prank but I hope I never have to see that man again.<br><br>Edit: Wow this blew up.
