The most annoying people are the ones that say, "Real men have beards" and "Real women should be thin"

My eyes roll so much whenever I hear, "Real men should have beards. Shaving is for women." or "Real men should be tall and strong."

I've been told, by women, that real men have beards. But, I can't grow facial hair. I get clean shaven or my beard is almost neat and clean by the end of the day. My beard is not a beard and looks like a 5 o'clock shadow. So, I don't even bother with it and shave my beard off every morning. I get clean shaven and it makes me look much better, in my opinion. I have a strong and chiseled jaw line that is defined and I like how I look clean shaven.

With that being said, I get called a kid or a gay guy in a derogatory manner because I don't look like a guy that hasn't shaved since the Clinton administration. My barber told me, "It's a shame you get clean shaven. Your beard will not be full for many years." I don't care. I want to get clean shaven. I'm still an adult and I have about 10 years of facial hair growth and it's just stubble.

And as a guy that can't grow facial hair, you'll never know what it's like to be called a little kid because of how you look. I used to work at a Call Center and the manager would call me "Little Kid" or "Little Buddy" just because of my looks. I was called a kid until I was in my 30's. Hell, I'm in my mid 30's now and I still get called a kid by some people based on my looks.
