We of r/WeFuckingLoveIsrael are a coalition of people from many different backgrounds and walks of life. We come together to share a love for Israel and a desire to see fairness and accuracy in the media. Today we stand in solidarity with our black friends, family, and communities. We are deeply saddened and hurt by the recent death of George Floyd. We have a shared value that all of humanity are created in the image of God and that life is precious.

We believe that every citizen has the right to fairness and safety from the actions of the government. We must stand together to bring about justice and the shared goal of a better world. Today I call on the leaders of our country to work together to prevent systemic injustice, police brutality, and to work together to find solutions to these problems.

But today let’s take a break. Today let’s put aside the future and the past. Today let’s mourn. Today let’s mourn the unnecessary death of another human being. Today let’s mourn the systemic injustice present in our world. Today let’s mourn the police brutality that is a daily fear of many Americans.

I, u/Imaginary_Opinion, have loved this country for my entire life. I am proud to call myself an American. I am proud of the principles this country is built on. Today I stand with a heavy heart. Today I mourn.

\-James 1:20 For the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.

\-Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

The moderators of r/WeFuckingLoveIsrael
