What was he planning to do to me?

So this happened in 2018.<br><br>I was walking through a parking lot in a not so good area in Chicago. I was going to a laundromat to wash some of my clothes.<br><br>As I was walking I didn't notice anyone around until a man approached me. He had on some type of grayish hoodie and some blue jeans. I noticed he had on some black boots,similar to Timberlands.<br><br>He had this weird smile on his face. I recorded what he said to me on my phone.<br><br>"Hey, you look familiar. Do I know you?"<br><br>I responded with,<br><br>"I don't think so."<br><br>He got closer to me and said,<br><br>"I think you're familiar. You look familiar, I think you're my sister or my cousin or something." He had a weird smirk on his face.<br><br>I told him I wasn't his sister or cousin. He then said,<br><br>"Well, can I get your number? I wanna be your friend or something."<br><br>I said okay and he asked me if I had a pen and some paper on me. I didn't. He had neither so he asked me to follow him to his car so he could get a pen and paper.<br><br>I followed him to his car which was a gray Impala. He opened his car door slightly and as he went into his center console he said,<br><br>"Oh, you know what? I don't need to write anything down, I'll just remember your number."<br><br>I thought that was weird. He asked me for my number and I didn't give it to him. I just walked away. <br><br>I thought he was being friendly until he asked me to follow him to his car. <br><br>Who asks someone to follow them to their car just to get a pen and paper?<br><br>What would he have done to me if I entered his car?<br><br>I don't want to know.<br><br>I called the police and they told me they would give him a description if they were in the area.<br><br>I was just thankful nothing bad happened to me.
