CMV: The USA is at war with peaceful protesters

This morning I'm hearing reports of police entering peaceful protests and attacking the civilians and protesters who are out there.<br><br>They are spending large amounts of money on riot gear, these protesters are also being called terrorists by some.<br><br>To me this is clear, the USA is at war with its citizens. I have never felt so powerless as I do right now. I haven't seen this much hate and anger since the election in 2016. I've been to a few of the protests and I have seen police attack people who were doing nothing but standing there.<br><br>Edit: I'm sorry. I'm not going to be able to reply to many comments today. I have to go work a 12 hour shift soon. Please bear with me.<br><br>Edit 2: I want to make it VERY clear that I am against ALL forms of violence and ALL the rioting.<br><br>Edit 3: For those of you who are saying "the police only used force because of the rioting". I've been there, I've seen the police use excessive force on people who are not doing anything at all.
