Dear [Censored] bhai,

I hope you're doing well and I hope you respect the boundaries that I'm going to draw in this email. You seem like a very nice guy and I do not want to hurt your feeling in any way. I'm trying to answer your question in a very honest way and with that in mind, here it goes.

The reason I'm responding in a very cold tone is that I do not know how else to communicate. It's not in my nature to let someone change their religion in such a manner that you are. I hope you understand.

**You're asking the wrong person.**
I am not a "Hindu" let alone an "Hindu nationalist" as you claimed in a later email. I am not in any position to let you join Hinduism or any other religion for that matter. You see, Hinduism allows anyone to join the religion without needing anyone's permission, however, there are a certain set of rules that you need to follow before joining any religion including Hinduism. Hinduism is a complex religion with a lot of branches and branches of branches. From what I know, the Sikhism's founder used to be a Hindu who did not like the caste system and then went on to create a religion of his own. Similarly, Buddhism came into existence as well.

From what I've understood, you just want to join the religion because you don't like being called a Muslim terrorist. In such a case, I strongly advise you to let that label go. Even if you were to join Hinduism, people are going to assume that you're a Muslim terrorist because of your name. Let me give you an example.

[Offtopic]
My friend is a Christian and his name is [Censored] George Thomas. Still, people used to call him a terrorist because of his middle name. He then dropped the middle name and now uses [Censored] George Thomas. Even that did not help and people are still calling him a terrorist. From what I've observed, the best way to let go of this label is not to change your name or change your religion but change your character. From what I know of you, you're an amazing guy. So, please don't let the label define you.

**Hindus are not going to accept you.**
Hinduism has a very strong set of rules regarding who can and cannot be a Hindu. I am not saying this. The ancient texts of Hinduism are saying this. If you read the ManuSmriti, you'll understand that a born Hindu cannot become an outcaste however a person who tries to become a Hindu from another religion is always going to be an outcaste.

The reason I'm saying this is that let's say you are a Muslim and you become a Hindu. People will never accept you as a Hindu. You'll always be an outcaste. People will always think of you as a Muslim. Even if you do a thousand good deeds, you'll still not be called a Hindu. This is how it works.

**You have two options.**
There are two options for you. The first one is to talk to your local priest and figure out how you can join the religion. From what I know, Hindu priests are very nice and they will definitely help you with whatever you want to do. However, as I said earlier, you'll always be an outcaste.

The second one is to go for Buddhism. From what I've observed, anyone can join Buddhism and you will face a lot less challenges. Just talk to your local Buddhist priest and they will guide you through the process. They'll definitely help you join Buddhism.

**Conclusion.**
I understand that this is very disappointing. I do not mean to hurt you in any way and I'm really sorry if I did. I'm trying to help you in any way possible. However, I do not think that joining Hinduism is the best way to do so. If you're feeling lonely or outcasted, I am more than happy to help you with anything.

I hope this helps. You can reply to this thread or send me a dm if you have any more questions, etc.

Warm regards,
[My Name]

>PS: I've censored my name and the guy's name.
