NFA tax stamp

It just says pay $200 and walk out the door? yup, except it doesn’t. I’m 3 months into a stamp application that for Idk reason they don’t get to till 5 months. Is it illegal to buy a suppressor and take it home? I mean for Idk reason he won’t get to it within a month so I’d have the stamp, suppressor, but not approval?‍♂️ I mean Idk why you’d have a stamp when you don’t have a suppressor but I’m throwing it out there. <br><br><br>Also is it illegal to buy a suppressor and put it on the firearm until I get the stamp Idk why you’d buy a suppressor and not put it on but I’m throwing it out. <br><br>This is just my thoughts on the entire process yup.
