Most of you are not depressed, or have anxiety. You're just lazy, and you avoid responsibility.

Let's start off with something pretty basic here. If you're sad all the time, have lost interest in activities you used to enjoy, and you can't sleep, or are too sleepy... A small amount of that is manageable with exercise, and some basic cognitive behavioral therapy. The therapy, and the first month of working out is hard as shit... I admit that right now. However, after that point you start seeing improvements. You do feel better, and you start to enjoy things again. If you still feel depressed after that, then you need to seek help.

I'm also including this from psychologist Rollo May: "Commitment is healthiest when it is not without doubt, but in spite of doubt." If you ask me I'd say that's probably the most insightful observation of the human condition.

I've met a lot of people who claim to be depressed or have some other psychological disorder, but they won't actually put the effort into improving their lives. They'll just say "I can't." Bull shit. You just won't.

There's a large population of people who claim to be depressed, or have anxiety but they are just lazy as shit, and the problem is that it's considered impolite or "insensitive" to call them on that.
