Last year, I sent my girlfriend a fake positive HIV result to make her stop worrying about it

Last year my girlfriend was freaking out all the time because she had slept with a guy of her ex-boyfriend's without a condom before we got together. He was apparently a serious womanizer and had a loooot of one night stands. Her ex-boyfriend was mad and had her convinced she was HIV positive. I had her go and get tested but it was before the window period was over, so they told her to come back in 3 months to get a final result. <br><br><br>She was in agony the whole time, crying and constantly freaking out, and I just wanted her to be better. I knew that she was probably fine because I had done plenty of home tests that were negative and we used condoms in general. So I went online and edited an image of a test result, changed it to positive, and told her that was her result to stop her freaking out. I told her that we'd both just have to get treated and it'd be fine, and she'd be calmer once she knew for sure she had it instead of worrying about it.<br><br><br>It was just meant to be a stopgap thing, but she was so much better after that! When the 3 months were up she came back and the test result was negative, so I told her it was a false positive and that was it. <br><br><br>She's doing fine now and we're happy together, but I don't think she knows how close she was to actually having HIV because I have no idea what her ex actually had and she won't say.<br><br>Editing in a tl;dr: I switched my girlfriend's HIV test result 6 months ago with a positive result of mine to make her stop worrying.
