CMV: Companies that produce food for children are the scourge of the earth.

Children have no control over what they can and cannot eat. It is up to adults to decide what to feed them. The people that produce food for children should have the sole goal of providing the healthiest food possible. I think that food manufacturers that produce food for children with the express intent of hooking children on their "food" to produce lifelong customers should be considered the scourge of the earth. <br><br>Example: This brand of mac and cheese for kids sold at Walmart is full of artificial coloring and other shit that is linked to brain cancer. All of their advertising is aimed at kids because kids will beg their parents to buy it for them. <br><br>tl;dr: Food manufacturers who target children with unhealthy foods should be considered the scourse of the earth.<br><br>EDIT: Holy shit this blew up. I'm not calling for a complete overhaul of the food system or to burn anyone at the stake. This is just my opinion. I think it is messed up that companies do this. I'm not saying it's the sole reason for kids being unhealthy, there are a lot of factors at play here, but this is definitely one of them.
