Adulting, why is it so hard?

As a kid, I literally saw all the adults around me just doing all the things they needed to do without any hassle whatsoever. I couldnt wait to grow up and have that freedom to buy anything I wanted, have a job and make money, go where I want to go etc, sounds like a dream come true. Now I’m an adult, and Im so depressed about how difficult it is to even get anywhere in life. You’re a grown ass adult but you still gotta ask people for money/bail you out in certain situations, you literally have no freedom because you have so much responsibility all the time and you can barely keep your head above water like wtf is this.
