Are psychedelics in general becoming safer?

I use the term safer pretty loosely here, and I understand that the safety of a drug is multifaceted and cannot be defined by any single variable. I am not talking about the safety of psychedelic drugs broadly in the sense that they are now legal, or safer in that they are now widely accepted, but I was wondering if the safety and potency of drugs is actually increasing because new drugs are being created.

Back in the day, Mescaline came from peyote, some psychedelics came from psilocybin mushrooms, some from different types of shamanic brews, and basically as we began to understand the different psychidelic properties of different substances, new substances were created that were more potent and effective and safer.

For example, it now seems that PROсутств is generally safer and more effective than psilo, and more widely available. That there are many different types of stimulants and hallucinogens that are now widely available to people, and that new drugs are being created that are more potent and more safer.

I guess it’s a pretty general question but are psychedelics in general just becoming safer and more effective?
