What exactly do Libertarians think will happen if the government stops providing any social services like Medicare, food stamps, welfare, etc?

It seems like many libertarians want the government to stop providing any financial support to the poor and disabled. What exactly do they think will happen to people who have no money and rely on these services to get the basic necessities like food and medical care? Do they expect private charities to magically provide the exact same amount of support for everybody that currently relies on it out of the goodness of their heart? I think it’s a pipe dream to think private charity would be close to enough to support everybody.
