I was stalked by a crazy guy in a Walmart

This happened back in 2015 at a Walmart in Chico, CA. At the time, I was an adult college student in my late thirties. I didn't have the best life back then, I was heavily overweight, smoking way too much weed, and socially isolated to the point I had very few friends, and zero romantic life.

Anyway, one evening, I decided to make the 90 minute drive from my college town of Paradise to Chico to visit Walmart. Now, I visited this Walmart several times before, and never thought anything of it. I only knew the guy at the door was a greeter, I never really talked to him up to this point.

Well, one evening, as I was browsing all isles and ready to check out, I decided to buy myself some snacks, and eat them in my car in the parking lot. That evening, I bought some popcorn and chocolate, and was looking forward to eating them in my car. I didn't expect what would happen next.

As I proceeded to the parking lot, still carrying my bag of snacks, I saw the greeter, a chubby and bearded guy, following me. When I realized he was following me, i fucking panicked, and I don't know what came over me, but I ran for my car, tossed my snacks in the back seat, and then ran back inside Walmart to escape the guy. I didn't know what else to do, so I hid in the men's bathroom, locked myself in the stall, and called 911.

I begged to be rescued, and the operator told me to stay calm and said police would be there in a few minutes. I didn't know how long I would have to wait, but I knew I had to stay as quiet as possible in case the guy was looking for me.

Fifteen minutes later, security guards came in to the bathroom, and said police were outside looking for the guy. I begged to be escorted out of the store, and they took me through the backdoor of the store.

When we got to the back of the store, police were waiting for me, and as we walked to the police car, I fucking cried like a baby. It was such a relief thinking the whole thing was over.

I was taken to the police station, and was interviewed and taken through the security footage. The police told me I was very lucky to escape the guy, and said that the way he was stalking me was threatening and predatory.

The police told me stalkers and psychopaths have a hard time adjusting to their environment when unexpected things happen, which is why the guy didn't see me run back inside. The cop made me feel special that night, even though I was a socially isolated fat slob, who didn't deserve to be noticed.

That night, I learned that even after years of being invisible, you're still a person, and psychopaths don't care what you look like.

Walmart fucking guy, you scared the shit out of me back in 2015, and if you ever see me again, know I'm now much more confident and ready to take you down.
