Framing Africa in a positive light is racist

This is a concept that comes from Sankarist/ARC people. When you talk about the positive things in Africa, you are neglecting the fact that the colonisers (Europeans and Americans) have structured society in such a way that it inherently benefits whites. It's all about power structures and how whites are the power holders and blacks and people of colour don't have the same power. Therefore, whenever you say something positive about Africa, you're ignoring the fact that whites still have power and that's disrespectful to people of colour.

For example, you can never say that South Africans generally start liking to play tennis at the age of 8. This is because there are black people in South Africa and they organised tennis differently because whites are inherently racist. So we can't discuss a positive aspect of Africa and South Africa because they are inherently racist because of power structures.

You can't ask black people about the history of their culture because all history is based on white people, so when you ask a black person about their culture, you're asking them to talk about how they were colonised.

But all of this falls apart because a white person can't know the experience of a black person. That's what you get from reading books on the topic of discrimination against people of colour.
