I'm a guy that has been high for 2 years now, AMA.

I'm a 24 year old guy that has been on Gabapentin for two years now. I don't know why I am posting this but here goes... I was prescribed 2700mg a day for nerve pain but I take a lot more on top of that. I smoke weed on the weekends and take coke when I am out at the club. <br><br>People that know me would be shocked to know I am high all the time. I function fine at work and have a good career. I am in good shape and work out frequently. All of my blood work and doctors appointments are fine. <br><br>If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'll be happy to answer anything.<br><br>EDIT: I should say that you all scared the shit out of me with this whole "I will die". I am starting the process of slowing tapering off. Thank you. <br><br>EDIT: I am shocked anyone is even looking at this thread, I made it in like 5 seconds. I am getting my blood work done on Monday and I am going to see my doctor about slowly getting off of the meds. I also am going to see a therapist for substance abuse, I have been using to cope with a lot of shit for too long now. <br><br>EDIT: My blood work came back today and it came back completely normal. However, I got a urine test done and it did not come back normal. It showed traces of coke, weed, and something else which I assume is the Gaba. I am seeing my doctor later today and will be getting admitted into a clinic on Monday morning. My doctor did say the results were not as bad as he thought it was going to be.
