What is the most interesting thing you've learned from having a conversation with someone from a different culture?

I'm a Canadian who was traveling in Korea. Had a conversation with a Korean woman who asked me if I was Chinese. I said no, I was Canadian. As a result of this conversation we discovered that neither one of us knew anything about each other's countries. It was a fun experience to learn about Korea from a native Korean, and to inform her about Canada. I even gave her a little history lesson about how Canada came to be.<br><br>This made me think about the fact that most people tend to not learn about cultures different than their own. So my question is what is the most interesting thing you've learned from having a conversation with someone from a different culture?
