I think my boyfriend has a microneedling procedure scheduled this week.

I’ve been noticing that he’s been putting on a lot of moisturizer at night before bed and a lot more often during the day than usual. He’s also been talking about the weather a lot more. This isn’t really that out of the ordinary for him because he’s always been concerned with his skin. However, this past week, it has been pretty rainy where I live. He hasn’t been mentioning how he doesn’t like the weather as usual. He hasn’t been complaining about his skin being oily. He just says he’s been noticing that he needs to put on more moisturizer.<br><br>I finally asked him if he was okay, and he told me he’s just been “feeling weird” lately. He said that he’s been thinking about getting a little more work done on his face. I asked him if he’s been doing microneedling, and he just said “yeah”. <br><br>He’s been spending more time with his friends lately, and he’s been more open about talking about how he feels. I’m worried that he’s getting some other procedure done because he’s not happy with the results of the microneedling, and he’s been saying things like “I feel like I’m not as pretty as I used to be” and “I don’t know if I’m pretty anymore”. <br><br>I’ve been trying to be supportive because I don’t want him to feel like I’m judging him, but I’m just worried because of all the stuff he’s been saying lately. I feel like I’m losing the guy I fell in love with because he’s been feeling insecure.
