You didn't have to deal with the police frequently busting into your parties, you didn't have to deal with slurs being thrown at you by everyone, you didn't have to fight for your right to exist.<br><br>Edit: some people seem to be taking this as "I didn't go out and fight for rights, that makes me homophobic/transphobic". I'm not saying that. I'm saying there's a difference between being a soldier in the war, and being behind the lines of support.
