CMV: The Olympics should be dissolved.

The Olympics are an overly expensive, antiquated, time-wasting project with little redeeming value. It is an anachronism from a bygone era that has been hijacked by nationalism and commercialism. <br><br>In the early 20th century, the Olympics may have been a decent time for countries to get together and develop new friendships. As I see it, today the Olympics are little more than a shitshow of posturing countries and overpaid athletes merely acting as a delivery system for their sponsors. I think the time and money spent on the Olympics could be better used elsewhere.
