YouTube (and the Internet as a whole) was much better when people were producing content as a hobby instead of a "job"

Back in the day you would go to YouTube and watch videos made by professionals and hobbyists alike. Now it seems everyone who produces content for YouTube is trying to make it their main source of income. This has caused the quality of content to plummet and clickbait to run rampant.

Now the internet as a whole is just one big Flea Market, everyone trying to peddle you their wares or sell their "services" in an attempt to make a buck.

I genuinely miss the "good ol' days" when people posted high quality content without subscriptoin or Patreon shilling.
