A lot of the television shows using fully adult actors in a high school setting could be rewritten to be a college setting and nobody would notice

I think a good example of this is Riverdale. If they said this was a college it would make way more sense. The characters are all living their own lives. They all have cars, some of the characters aren’t even going to college (in the show). They all additional part time jobs. None of the characters care about their grades. All of the actors are almost 30. It would make way more sense if they were in college (perhaps all going to the same college in a big city) rather than being in high school. There are a lot of other shows like this out as well.
