It's a very fine line between sexy and not sexy

I have a funny story that I think is relevant to this sub:

I'm a 1.5 year post-bariatric surgery, a 5'4'' 240 pound chubby/MC woman. I'm on an island with a few men, one is my friend who I'm visiting and one is a 75-year old man who is friends with us both. We all went together to a nearby island to go exploring in the tropical forest and hit the beach.

I wear flowy dresses everywhere because it's hot out and I'm sure that you all have been in places where it's hot for you. I had a flowy white sundress, a long-sleeved cotton blouse covering my shoulders, and a tank top underneath. When we got to the beach, I changed into a one-piece swimsuit, with the blue denim shorts and the blouse. I went in the water, and because it was a white cotton top, it became transparent... because the water was in the blouse.

We got out of the water, dried off, and I didn't bring a change of clothes into the bathroom to change back into. So I had to walk back in front of the older man with basically see-through breasts.

My friend caught my eye and said "wow !!" in a quiet voice. I shooed him away and blushed, and the older man didn't say anything. When we got back, he gave me a single white rose and said "a very pretty lady such as yourself deserves a very pretty rose." I thanked him, and put the rose in a vase. I kept it on my table for three days afterward.

It's a very fine line between sexy and not sexy. I felt pretty, and a little embarrassed, but I learned that sometimes, the sexy things are embarrassing, but very good in the moment. It's a very fine line between sexy and not sexy.
