My girlfriend [22F] wants to break up cause I [22M] bought the wrong chocolate

We've been dating for 3yrs. We share an apartment, have for 1.5yrs. Everything is great. We've never had any problems. <br><br>Today she asked me to buy her chocolate and coffee. I went to 5 shops, all were out of coffee, so I got chocolate and told her to try a different kind of chocolate. I got her the same brand, but a different flavor (hers is Baileys, I got raspberry).<br><br>When I got home and handed it to her, she just stared at me in shock (like in a creepy way), then she said "I dont even know you anymore" and then she said that she wants to break up. She said I don't even know her, and she said I proved that by buying the wrong chocolate. She said I've changed. <br><br>I tried to talk to her but she just kept saying I've changed and I dont even know her. She's been crying all day. I'm so confused, I dont know what's happening. It feels like she just woke up one day and decided to hate me. I know it's not about the chocolate, it's something else, but every time I try to have a conversation she just says im a completely different person and I dont know her, and that she wants to break up. I just dont understand why she's acting this way. I've always been the same person, I dont know why she thinks Im a different person now. I feel so lost, I love her so much. I dont know what to do, I've tried everything. I just dont understand what she means, she wont tell me anymore. <br><br>What can I do? I feel like she just hates me for no reason at all, and I dont know what to do. <br><br>Edit: I just want to say thanks for all the advice and stuff. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to tell her that I posted this, because I've had bad experiences in the past with telling people that, so I wont be able to tell her my side of how I feel. I just have to let her cool down. I really do appreciate all the help though, and I'll definitely do my best to communicate properly with her, and I'll make sure she knows how much I love her.
