Why do women all of a sudden want men to feel like a part of the family when they previously said that we were worthless?

My aunt had a step son who she treats like a son. She did everything for him his entire life, took care of him, disciplined him, was there for his school events, is still the closest with him and so on. She is in her 70s now and is telling all the family that she wishes they would come visit her more, but she knows that he is the only one who will come see her because she says that mothers and daughters are usually closer and sons don’t keep in contact like daughters do.

My sister’s husband is acting as her little lap dog and has been since they started dating. He treats her like he does his mom. He is never happier than when he is taking care of her. He even tells her exactly how much money he makes.

I have two male friends who are not really close with their families. We’re like family to each other. One was recently dumped by his wife and was talking about how all I have is my mom left to me. I said yeah, that is just how it goes. We’re not in the same world as women.

I don’t know, I am just observing how whenever I was around my women family members I was treated like I didn’t belong. I was just an accessory or something. I don’t know why women start freaking out if their sons don’t get involved and visit them. I mean, you raised him like an animal so now he acts like an animal. You didn’t make him a part of your family either, so why should he do it for you? Just be glad that you left your womb enough to be born.
