App idea: Social media for tweets that are verified to be true

‼️This app idea may already exist‼️<br><br>This app would serve as a filter for social media posts. People would be able to post links to facebook, instagram, twitter posts that they think are true but need to be verified. <br><br>Any person in the world can then claim the post and verify that it is true. The person who verifies it would be giving up some level of anonymity.<br><br>Sometimes you see videos or photos online and you have no idea if they are real or not. And the people who post this stuff don’t give up their real identities. This app would help people verify these type of things<br><br>What do you guys think? Do you think people would actually use an app like this?<br><br>EDIT: some of these online posts people are just talking about their opinions. That isn’t what I am trying to verify. I am trying to verify “I was at the grocery store and saw this happen”, “I saw this happen because I am a doctor at this hospital”, “this is the damage in my neighborhood”, etc<br><br>EDIT: here is a recent example of this type of thing. There was a video of a man being beat at the US capitol building. He was a journalist and he had a megaphone. People on twitter were saying that this was a journalist and verified that this had happened. He was a journalist and verified that this had happened and is in critical condition. This is the type of verification that I think is important. The app would verify that this was a journalist and show the tweet post. And then verified that it was the journalists own account. And then verified that he had been admitted to the hospital. People verifying these things would obviously be giving up their anonymity to give the verification creditability.
