Why are people so shocked about the 6 year old shooter?

To me it makes sense. A kid that young is able to realize that they are upset about being held back a year. They are able to put the gun they have (because their family sucks) to the head of someone they blame. They’re able to pull the trigger to get that sort of satisfaction. Then they’re able to realize they need to run away before the police get there.

Like what else is a kid supposed to do if they’re angry and have a gun? What am I missing?
