Xenopsylla (flea) infestation in West Michigan

Hello. I’m not sure where to turn but my family and I are at our wits end. We are in West Michigan, (Grand Haven) and these bugs have invaded our home. At first, I had a few, but they have multiplied. I now have hundreds if not thousands crawling on every single piece of furniture, crawling on us, my animals, down every drain, in every crevice. They are also infesting our pool house and garage. Neither of which of our pets are allowed inside. <br><br>We are at a complete loss, it has been really hot this summer, (for Michigan). Our bug catches smell like rotting flesh. We’re spraying them and vacuuming them up, but there are so many, and they bite. My husband has been stung twice by them. I spray them with peppermint oil when I see them, but they still are not going away. My daughter is absolutely scared to death, and she won’t even come into the house. We don’t know what to do anymore. Please, if you have any advice, please help.<br><br>I would rather die than continue to live this way. We haven’t slept a good night in weeks. <br><br>Thank you.
