I lied to my girlfriend and said I was at work. I actually spent most of my day on reddit.

I work at a restaurant in a kitchen. Usually we have a lousy kitchen staff, but today we had extra bussers and a few of our cooks brought in an extra person to help us put out food faster. Usually I have to juggle three to four tickets at a time but today we were all at peace. I spent most of my day on chambers, watching my tickets and occasionally finding myself leaving them to glance at for a minute. I did this for three hours. My girlfriend messaged me and asked how work was going and I lied and said a lot of tickets were coming in. She said she hoped it slowed down soon and I said "me too".
