Is it normal to get extremely frustrated and just lash out

I had a family party and was refraining from using any sort of drugs that day for the sake of being social but then my (f14) cousin started being super annoying and I just spent the rest of the day yelling on and off, I am on a few drugs and was wondering if this could be a side effect or something and if anything else like this has happened
