Why would you pay the global north’s bully tax?

The global north (USA, Europe, Australia, Canada) is the world’s biggest bully, spying on global south with Five Eyes, forcing global south to use their currencies and pay their bully tax under sanctions, threatening war with anyone who doesn’t comply with their agenda, if you live in the global south why participate in the global north economy at all?
