I was a child in a store and some lady approached me and started talking to me like she was my mother

This happened to me like 5 years ago, I was around 12-13 years old. I don't really remember the details or what I was wearing or anything about the lady who talked to me. What I do remember very clearly is that I was at some store with my mother and at the time my mother was a brunette while I was a redhead. I believe the lady was some sort of employee as she was wearing some kind of tag. What she did was approached me and started talking to me like she was my mother and I was her kid. She even called me "my baby" or "baby girl" and I don't know if she was trying to abduct me or not but she was weird. She asked me if I wanted to stay with her and watch a movie with her, she even pulled out a DVD to show me (which was definitely not the movie she described, I remember because it was a cartoon movie I knew of) and said that I could "help her pick out some snacks for the movie". <br><br>I told her I couldn't because my mom was with me and I had to go with her. Then she asked me where my mom was and I said she was over there and pointed to where my mom was. My mom is a very tall woman with bright red hair, she's very noticeable when she's in a room. Then the lady looked annoyed and walked away very quickly, it was very suspicious and I told my mom what happened when she came to me. She just said "always be careful" but I don't really know if she believed me or not. I don't know what would've happened if I had said yes to the lady, but I'm very glad that I didn't.
