In a world where you can change your voice at will, why does the narrator of every audiobook sound like Morgan Freeman?

The world is a strange place. Women sound like men, and men sound like women. People alter their voices to fit their perceived personalities. There's even a portion of population that opt to sound like children, and quite frankly a disturbing amount of people that sound like Morgan Freeman.<br><br>Why do audiobooks sound like Morgan Freeman?<br><br>This is my first ever writing prompt, so constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
