I went to the hospital pretending to be injured so I didn't miss work

A couple of years ago I was deep into a heroin habit and I was missing way too many days of work. I was in a really rough spot and I knew my company was going to fire me if I missed another day. So I went to the hospital and I pretended to pass out in the waiting room. I acted like I had broken my shoulder when really I had just bruised it when I fell onto the floor. I was taken to a hospital room and after hours of waiting I finally got my sick note. My company accepted it and no further questions were asked. It was by far the most unpleasurable hospital visit I have ever had.
