Most strong AI critics are morons.

It's not AI that's the problem. It's the people behind the technology. This should be self-evident. <br><br>Most of the strong AI critics I've come across are morons. They either have completely unrealistic expectations, or least do not understand technology. <br><br>The only thing that really matters is governance. That's why we need to make sure that the actors behind AI are ethical. That's the only thing that's relevant.<br><br>The biggest risk is narrow AI, not AGI. Narrow AI will replace loads of jobs, make us hyper-reliant on it, and make companies rich. AGI is a more long term question. It is irrelevant if we don't solve the governance problem.
