What is the main reason for the sudden rise of the “anti work” movement?

I feel like I’ve been seeing heaps of anti work posts and memes online over the last couple of years and I’m wondering what is giving rise to it?<br><br>I personally do not subscribe to this ideology, I love my work and I love earning lots of money, I love the sense of fulfillment that work can bring and the option to make good money if I put in the effort. I know I’m a privileged white male, but I find it a little strange when I see people who are privileged enough to have options in life say things like “fuck it I don’t want to work”<br><br>Is there a study or a book that backs this ideology?
