On May 3 1945, the last German U-boat German submarine sank, two days before the German surrender.<br><br>On May 4 1945, Karl Dönitz ordered the unconditional surrender of the German U-boat fleet. <br><br>On that same day, the British accepted the unconditional surrender of the German Wehrmacht in the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway.<br><br>On May 3 1945, another devastating bombing of Prague took place, and the cemetery in Prague-Pankraz was heavily attacked.
