I'm fucking sick of the "Don't leave dirty dishes in the sink" argument

My girlfriend takes the trash out, I do the dishes. I absolutely hate doing the dishes, it's one of my least favourite tasks ever and I'm stuck with it. It's not like I leave them in the sink overnight, I always do them. But if I happen to be busy for an hour, I'm treated like some kind of fucking lazy asshole. It's not like it's the end of the world, I leave them for an hour and do them when I can. It's not like I'm leaving them for days or weeks. I leave them for an hour and get treated like the fucking laziest asshole ever. Why the fuck does it matter. I always do them, stop treating me like lazy scum for leaving them for 60 minutes, it's not like anything short of an emergency will stop me from taking care of my chores.
