I might be asking for too much

I’m looking for a 2 bedroom newly built house to be built on a 14x70 lot. Backyard patio is good to have, preferably with railings. I heard they’re supposed to be 2 newly built homes going up on my street. I’m thinking with how wide our streets are and how some people even have 2 driveways, it’s better to use that space and build a 14x70 2 bedroom house with a patio. I’m pretty convinced they are taking too much space. What do you think?
