You find out your dad is your father

You and your family have been living with your father for a few years. You were seven when he found you, you were 10 now. Your parents have been divorced for a few years. Your dad was getting remarried, and they moved to a different town, leaving you and your mom in the old house. They didn't want you to get stuck in a new house with a stepmom and new kids, so they left you and your mom with a family friend. <br><br>They planned to come visit once a month, but things have been busy. You're not even sure why you haven't heard from them in weeks. You've been calling them every day, but the number always goes to voicemail. Your mom is frantically trying to get in contact with them, but they don't want to be reached. <br><br>They haven't been coming over, so they're not around. Your mom is scared that something happened to them, maybe they got into a car accident or something. You don't know what to think. <br><br>The family friend has been here the entire time, and she hasn't said a thing. She doesn't even know what's going on. You know something is going on, but you can't find out what it is.
