My girlfriend (36F) wants to break up cause I (37M) bought the wrong chocolate.

So yesterday my gf asked me to buy her some chocolate, so I did, but I think I chose the wrong brand, because today she told me that she wants to break up with me. She said that our relationship was already finiched for her, but that I made it perfect by buying the wrong chocolate. <br>I mean, what the fuck? Is that a joke? She said it was not a joke, so I told her that she can go and that I changed my mind as well. Now she's crying in the kitchen saying that I caused all this. I don't know, what to do. Should I go and apologize for buying the wrong chocolate? Or is she just trying to manipulate me? I'm lost<br><br>EDIT: Okay, so the ex planation: She said that when she was a kid, her parents gave her a chocolate, coming from the brand I bought, to comfort her. The Chocolate reminds her of her dad beating her and her siblings. She said that she wanted to end our relationship months ago but I bought the chocolate that triggered her to finally tell me. I'm heartbroken and don't know what to do.
