Would women like dating men who are described as “sweet”?

It’s kind of annoying how women always say they want nice, sweet guys, but they never actually date them. I think any man who’s been on dating apps before knows what I’m talking about. I see a lot of guys on these apps who explicitly say they’re looking for friends, and I’ve met a lot of men like that in real life. They’ll buy you food and drinks and invite you out to cool stuff for the sake of hanging out with you, not to try to hook up. They usually aren’t in relationships, and I wonder if women would be interested in them as romantic partners, and to be fair, some are pretty unattractive. But to any women reading this, would you date a man like that?
