The Anime Awards are here and remind me why I don’t go to chambers anymore

Look I don’t have a problem with the awards, but for one the fact that it is influenced by people and not critics bothers me. I hate seeing this chamber run to the polls and make it so Attack on Titan or My Hero wins best show. Just seems so predictable as the anime awards go to the show that is currently popular. Also what the hell is the deal with best girl and best boy and the fact that you can vote for your waifu? I get that isn’t new, but it’s just so cringy to me. I don’t have a waifu or a husbando and I don’t get why anyone would. I understand that people like characters, but I just don’t understand the whole waifu thing. Also the fact that My Hero Academia has a bunch of nominations is so ridiculous. My Hero is one of the worst animes ever created in my opinion. I hate it and I hate how popular it is. Also the fact that My Hero was nominated for best action anime and best anime is so ridiculous. This chamber is such a shithole and I hate this chambers now.
