Where would you recommend someone go in the USA if they only have $150?

I'm currently in San Fransisco but I've got to get to Nevada in less than 24 hours with less than $150. I have no suitable clothes for the desert, and I've never been outside of San Fransisco. I feel like I'm going to be in a lot of trouble. I need help! What should I do, and where should I go?
