A man wrote in his journal, "I wish I was a god," but when he awoke the next day he saw that he had been cursed. "For every word you write, a wish shall become reality," it read.

He panicked. He didn't even remember writing that the day before. He tried to rub it out, but it didn't come off. He took his journal to a professor, and the professor told him that he must have written it in a fit of madness.

But he didn't remember. It was as if something had taken over his body and mind. So he wrote, "I wish to remember writing this," and he did.

A few days later, a student came up to him and said that she wished to be his girlfriend. She explained that she had been having visions of the two of them being together, and that he was the only person she could imagine. He wrote, "I wish that I didn't want to be with her," and he felt his heart grow cold. He didn't want her.

But he soon realized that if he wrote anything that could possibly bring her pain, he would be the one to bring it. So he wrote, "I wish to say yes," and he did. He was now forced to be with her. But he didn't mind. He didn't love her, but he knew he couldn't hurt her.

The student's visions became more vivid. She saw them getting married. He wrote, "I wish to remember this," and he did. But he had no say over what she wanted for their future.

She died after ten years of marriage, and he was left alone once more. He wrote, "I wish to die," and he did. But he was sent to a place of eternal pain, where he was forced to remember every moment of his life. He wished he hadn't written "I wish to remember this."

He was sent to a different realm, where he met a woman who wished to be his friend. He wrote, "I wish to love you," and he did. But she soon left him, and he wrote, "I wish to stop loving you," and he did. She never came back, and he was alone once more.

Years later, he met a man who wished to be his son. He wrote, "I wish to be his father," and he did. He realized that the curse was gone, and he had never written about it.

The curse was just a dream. It was the only peaceful thing he had ever felt. And so, he wrote, "I wish for the curse to return," and it did.

He had no idea why he wanted it to return, but it was the only thing that brought him peace. And so, he continued to wish for the curse, day after day, until he died.

The curse ended there, and a few years later, a young woman came up to the old man who had been cursed and said, "I wish to be his daughter," and she was. She had heard stories of a man who was cursed by his own writing, and she wished to experience it. She died ten years later, but before she did, she wrote, "I wish to remember this," and she did.

I am the young woman. And now, I wish to be free of the curse.

How do I do this?

Do I write, "I wish to die"?

Do I write, "I wish for the curse to end"?

I don't know what I should write. I have lived for only ten years, but I have seen so much.

The man who wrote "I wish to remember this" was sent to a place of eternal pain.

The man who wrote "I wish to stop loving you" was left alone.

But what if I wrote, "I wish to be free"?

What if I wrote, "I wish to never have to remember this again"?

I have no idea if it will work, but I can try.

And so I do. I write, "I wish to never have to remember this again," and I feel a rush of relief.

I don't know what it means. But I think it worked.

I can feel the curse fading. I can feel myself growing old. I will never have to remember this again.

I have lived a good life, but now it's over. I am ready to die.

I hope that whoever is reading this can learn from my story.

Do not write, "I wish to never have to remember this again."

Do not write, "I wish to die."

I don't know what other things not to write, but I hope this helps.

Thank you for reading my story.

I hope you learned from it.
