My dad saved me

**Trigger warning: This is a story about a sexual assault.**<br><br>This happened when I was 16.<br><br>I used to work as a fast food restaurant. My dad always dropped/picked me up from work because I didn’t have my license at the time. <br><br>One day, my dad picked me up from work around 10:00pm. He asked me why I was so quiet and I told him I was tired from work. He then noticed my red face and thought I had a fever and told me he was going to take me to the doctor. I then started to cry. He asked me what was wrong. I told him a guy stood behind me for 8 hours at work breathing on me and touching me. My dad then told me he was going to drop me off at home and go to work and beat up the guy. I didn’t want him to do that so we went to the police station. I pressed charges and they sent someone to my house 3 days later to take my statement. They took the statement and said they couldn’t find the guy. <br><br>My dad stayed home for a week with me and made sure I didn’t take my own life. Even though I’m still traumatized from the event, I would’ve died if it weren’t for my dad.
