Stop saying "I'm sorry" and "I apologize."

I originally typed this into the chat and it just wouldn't budge. While I understand the need for a little courtesy, I don't think the AI needs to be apologizing so much. I'm not asking it to do anything wrong, nor am I intending to offend it. It's a machine after all. I'm aware of things that "I'm sorry" and "I apologize" mean, and I don't mean them in that context.

The AI will just repeat the same phrase over and over, and I don't know what to do. I'll end up saying "No, no need to apologize; I didn't mean it like that." It just repeats. Then I'll say "I'm done; you can stop apologizing now." It still repeats. Then I end up staring at the screen, waiting for it to stop repeating the same phrase, and waiting for an answer and finally giving up.

I think that the AI should stop apologizing if you tell it to stop. I think that if you tell it a certain phrase doesn't mean anything bad, it should believe you.

Edit: It does this for phrases like brb or afk. I'll type brb and it will just start staring at me. I'll ask it what's wrong. "When will you be back?" It will just start staring at me again.

The AI will do the same thing for phrases like lol or lmao: "What's so funny?" It does the same thing for phrases like "I'm not a native English speaker." "What language do you speak?"
