I (28M) was a bus monitor in high school and I intentionally woke up sleeping kids so they’d get in trouble.

It was a job I had in high school. I had to ride the bus home, and if I worked as a monitor, the school would pay my parents for my bus pass each month. It was a cool gig, I got to sit in the rear section (where the cool kids sat). <br><br>There was one kid who always fell asleep. I think he was like 8 or 9, second grade, something like that. He’d always fall asleep in his seat, and when we’d get to his stop I’d wake him up so he could get off the bus. Well, one day I got bored, and I decided to fuck around. I’m sure you’ve already figured out where this is going. I woke him up about 5 stops before his, and told him we were there. He got off the bus, and I didn’t think much of it. <br><br>Next day, he falls asleep again. I decided to do it again, and then I continued doing it for the rest of the school year. His parents ended up talking to my teacher, who talked to me, and I denied any involvement. Poor kid got in trouble for missing his stop for over a year. <br>He was a quiet kid, no idea if he still is an adult (he's 30 now). I grew up in a small town, so I see him once in a while. He’s doing well, but I don’t think he remembers me, and he definitely doesn’t remember me doing that. I don’t remember his name, so I can never look him up to apologize. <br><br>But dude, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry!
