Everybody catches you when you fall, except when you hit the ground. Then you’re in a hole.

I’ve been homeless a week now and it’s the most empty, meaningless experience I’ve ever had. I literally walked outside and the world moved on. It is so surreal and so impersonal.<br><br>Edit: to everybody who was so kind to reach out and offer help, or a place to stay, know that it’s much appreciated! I’m not in a great place to respond to everyone, but I read every message. Thank you all so much.
