My husband doesn't understand why I've gained weight

I have gained this year in particular. When my son was younger, I was struggling with post partum anxiety. I couldn't sleep, I was so anxious about my baby and I couldn't eat.

Now at 2, he's settled into a routine, I'm sleeping better and I'm able to eat more. I've put on weight.

My husband keeps telling me I should "get in the gym" and "stop eating" and "watch my diet". I have explained to him that I have been struggling to sleep most nights, but that's no excuse for eating. It seems like every day, he says something about my weight, my diet, etc.

I just want to feel comfortable in my skin.

But no, my husband keeps pointing out my flaws and weight. It hurts.

He's also started ordering weights for the house and telling me I need to exercise.

Am I wrong for thinking this is overboard?

I know I'm not overweight, but I'm not comfortable. That doesn't seem to matter.
